Abstract

South Korea's experience during the last two decades proved the
important role education polices can play in achieving social justice amd
decreasing economic disparities. That's because achieving more justice in
income distribution is related to the availability of more equal educational
opportunities and services for the various income categories included in the
society. Otherwise, the disparities in educational opportunities between
different income categories and/or between males and femails in the same
income category will increase those disparities. Educational policies in South
Korea had provided the necessary efficient and skilled human capital for
acheiving high rates of economic development taking into account social
justice principles. So, this study aimed to analyze Korean experience and its
success factors to conclude the opportunities for Egypt to benefit from this
experience as empirical evidence that education is one of the main
requirments to decrease income disparities and achieve more social justice.
