Political parties represent the backbone of democracy in the contemporary world, it is currently inconceivable that a real democracy will exist without political parties, and because parties perform many important functions in contemporary democracies, they need financial resources to carry out their functions, money for parties is the fuel that maintains the continuity of the work of the party machine, and therefore funding plays an important role for political parties to carry out their functions and greatly affects the performance of parties in elections, between electoral periods and in the management of affairs. Funding or money is an important resource for political parties to carry out their functions, which may represent a threat to them if they do not improve their management and organization, so this study deals with the aspect of financing political parties in contemporary democracies, especially since the aspect of financing political parties still faces major problems and challenges even in established democracies.
