Trends in peace research analysis: A survey of contemporary trends

Abstract

The research aimed to monitor the most important developments in the field of peace research studies, as a field of knowledge associated with the concepts of conflict, crisis and war, and remained the focus of attention of specialists and academics, as it represents an international value that all human societies should adhere to. The research also shed light on the most prominent contemporary trends in this field, which tried to provide different interpretations of how peace is achieved by monitoring peacekeeping efforts and movements throughout history, and what distinguishes the crises and conflicts of the contemporary world from the previous ones, as well as seeking to formulate different models that can guide them in peacebuilding processes.
