The approach of economic reform based on adopting the vision of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is one of the reform approaches. The national approach to reform, based on the vision of each country and in line with its economic and social conditions, is the second. The case study of some countries that followed the vision of the International Monetary Fund shows that they suffer from many structural problems in the national economy with increasing rates of poverty and unemployment due to the implementation of the vision of the Fund, while the countries that adopted a self-reform approach developed by the state itself have succeeded; and each country has become a model for economic reform. This refers to the importance of following a national approach to economic reform taking into account the specificity of each country.
