Abstract

The research examines the political dimensions of China's role in establishing a nuclear-weapon-free zone in the Middle East, taking into account the challenges posed by Israel's non-adherence to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and its non-acceptance of placing its nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards with the assistance of the United States and European countries. The importance of China's interest in this issue comes on the grounds that the security stability of the Middle East region is at the same time a guarantee of the stability of Chinese interests in the Middle East.
