The influence of the Chinese lobby on American foreign policy towards China during the period (2001-2016)

Abstract

The study discusses how the Chinese lobby influenced U.S. foreign policy toward China from 2001 to the end of 2016, how the mechanisms used by members of the Chinese lobby have evolved, how effective they have been in influencing U.S. foreign policy toward China, and the role of lobbies in influencing U.S. foreign policy.
The study aimed to highlight the role of informal actors such as the Chinese lobby in influencing the American external decision-making process in the international system, in addition to clarifying the development in the perspective of members of the Chinese lobby during the period. (2001-2016) on the US external decision-making process towards China as well as highlighting the development in the mechanisms, methods used by members of the Chinese lobby to influence US foreign policy towards China, and its effectiveness.
The study defines the role of lobbyists such as the Chinese lobby and mechanisms. And the methods used by them to influence the centers of external decision-making in the United States of America vis-à-vis countries Various issues, such as the US foreign policy towards the People's Republic of China, as well as the difference in effectiveness of the members of the Chinese lobby in influencing the US external decision-making process towards China as a result of different perspectives, Mechanisms and methods used by members of the Chinese lobby during the period (2001-2016).
