At the beginning of this century, an international economic grouping called "BRICS" has emerged, consisting of five countries from the rising powers: (Russia, Brazil, India, China, and South Africa). This grouping has an important economic role in the existing international system, which raises questions about the possibility of the evolution of its economic role as a major economic power into a political and strategic influence to confront the current economic, political and security challenges in the international system, and the possibility that the BRICS gathering becomes a major economic and political player in the future. This research aims to find out the extent of the influence of the BRICS grouping on the economies of the new emerging powers, and to monitor the most important factors, dimensions and initiatives of the BRICS grouping towards these countries, in an attempt to counter the U.S. hegemony and establish a multipolar system, and assess its ability to expand by inclusion of new countries.
