Abstract

The public policy-making process in the United States of America is of widespread interest, especially in the aspect of the relationship between the response and/or non-response to public opinion and the relationship between public policy-making and decision-making, and the current study deals with the reciprocal relationship between public opinion and the confrontation of the administration of the 45th US President Donald Trump with the Corona pandemic. The study found that the chances of re-election of President Trump in light of the spread of the Koruna epidemic and as a result of his policies in how to deal with the virus and the epidemic in the United States of America, were already limited, as evidenced by the low percentage of the public satisfied with the way the country is managing the virus outbreak.
