From early civilization stages human seek to think about building better world, as human always searched beyond reality problems which pushed to establish great civilizations made human history a series of forward steps to future, and the utopia developed from human ambition to reach the heaven and win glory, which gave humans rich imagination filled with visions of better worlds with no poverty, oppression or need, and humans shaped this visions with different types of arts like poetry, drawing and literature. These utopian visions and utopian city projects have developed through the various stages of history from its early ages to the present day. These visions varied according to each historical stage and dreams differed between the Western and Eastern civilizations, which contributes to providing an important explanatory framework for the development of the political history of peoples and the movement of history and helps in a better understanding of political thought and its development, as utopia represented the mirror in which the problems of reality were reflected and carried out important functions to change this reality and develop it into a better world.
