This study aims to understand and explain the reasons for the rise of the political popularity of the Green parties in Western Europe countries; they managed to win huge numbers of seats in the national parliaments, enabled some of them to participate in forming some governments, in addition to they won large numbers of seats in the 2019 European Parliament elections. The main research question is: what are the main influencing factors facilitating the political rise of Green parties in Western Europe from 2019 to 2023. This study assumed seven factors that supported or facilitated the success and rise of the Green parties as follows: economic and social variables - the cultural variable and the adoption of post-material values/self-expression compared to materialism values –Green Parties Moderation- the characteristics of voters - the form of constituencies (the urban constituency is mostly more supportive than the rural constituency) - the nature of the issues promoted by the Greens and to what extent they represent a source of threat to voters - the institutional architecture of the electoral process.
