Abstract

The promotion and guarantee of human rights in general and the rights of minorities in particular still suffer from significant shortcomings, despite the fact that the international community has accomplished many solid human rights charters. This study seeks a statement by experts and academics in dealing with this crisis in Myanmar by specialists and the way the international community and the United Nations dealt with it, after presenting a historical summary of the presence of this minority in Myanmar in addition to what this minority has been subjected to the most severe and brutal persecution even The United Nations declared it (the most persecuted minority in the world) because of killing, torture and forced displacement in a systematic and even deliberate framework aimed at ethnic cleansing and genocide, which amounts to a recipe in international law to the level of crimes against humanity.
