Egyptian foreign policy towards the European Union countries in the Mediterranean during the period 1993: 2018

Abstract

        The importance of this study stems from the effort it represents from its endeavor to uncover a set of facts related to the behavior of Egypt's foreign policy towards Euro-Mediterranean Countries in the Mediterranean circle during the period from 1993 till 2018.
By the end of this study, the researcher hopes that the reader of it will be able toidentify the most important issues of priority for Egyptian foreign policy towards these countries, and the extent of success of this policy in achieving its objectives in its political aspect. Whether with each of them individually or with them combined. The study provides an overview of the development of Egyptian relations with them, cooperation in establishing regional arrangements in the Mediterranean region, the position on the Arab-Israeli conflict, the position on the conflict in Libya, and the position on the conflict in Syria.
It is worth noting that this study takes in consideration the relative weight of each countryso that more space is allocated for countries of greater importance and vice versa.The study also provides in its conclusion, a set of observations and recommendations that may give a clearer understanding of this policy.
