Abstract

The "Deal of the Century" or the "Trump Peace Plan" is a proposed peace plan aimed at resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, prepared by US President Donald Trump. It can be summarized as resolving the Palestinian issue by establishing a Palestinian state without an army in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, with Egypt providing additional land for Palestinians to establish airports, factories, and trade, without allowing Palestinians to live there. The size and price of the land will be agreed upon, and a suspension bridge will be built to facilitate movement between Gaza and the West Bank.
Trump has shown an extreme position towards Palestinians by supporting settlements in Palestinian territories, moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, fighting terrorism and extremism, and demanding that Palestinians recognize the Jewish state. The Palestinian government has rejected the peace plan, with President Mahmoud Abbas calling it the "slap of the century" and refusing to negotiate on its basis.
