Environmental migration is one of the most widespread phenomena in recent times, which represents a real challenge to human security, environmental security and sustainable development for the countries hosting environmental refugees, in the absence of legal regulation of environmental migration and therefore the lack of regulation of the relationship between human rights of which the environmental refugee is a part, between the economic, social, and political burdens on the host country. Where the environment suffers in recent times in light of industrial developments and the spread of pollution from the deterioration of natural resources, and then human security is considered as the dynamic that links the base of natural resources and the social and economic fabric of the state to achieve local stability and achieve sustainable development goals, and for this the study discussed everything related to An environmental refugee from a human security perspective, with a discussion of the refugee’s legal status and international efforts to deal with it.
