The contemporary concept of regionalism under the new global economic order (from 1945 to 1995)

Abstract

The research aimed to shed light on the contemporary concept of regionalism، and its connection with the development of international economic relations in the middle of the twentieth century، and the repercussions of the new world economic order with the emergence of what was known as “the phenomenon of globalization”، especially “economic globalization”، and the establishment of the World Trade Organization in 1995، and the spread of regional economic blocs، which were considered It was the twentieth century and the twenty-first century، which was considered as a warning to countries that are not united by a single economic bloc of the necessity of their economic bloc to face the dangers and negative effects of the globalization phenomenon.
All this is considered the development of the concept of regionalism from the traditional form to the contemporary form. The research included two topics: in the first we dealt with the connection of the contemporary concept of regionalism with the concept of economic integration، and in the second، we singled out regional agreements within the framework of the World Trade Organization. In order to answer a number of questions related to the purpose of the research.
