Abstract

In light of Chinese efforts to expand its global influence، through its presence in various regions of the world of geostrategic importance، and in light of the international changes that witness the peaceful rise of China to the top of the international system، thus competing with the major traditional powers. This study aims to shed light on the Chinese presence in one of the most important continents of the world with important strategic resources for the major industrialized countries، which is the African continent، in which China’s presence greatly contributed to supporting its influence and position in many of the African countries، thanks to its mastery of using the economic tool by providing Economic assistance to those countries that suffer from lack of financial resources and lack of development investments، which helped China win African support and enabled it to achieve its foreign policy in Africa. The study also aims، in particular, to identify the new role that China can play in developing countries to support its peaceful rise and support its huge Belt and Road project.
The study is divided into three sections: The first section discusses the diplomatic mechanism، the second discuss the economic mechanism، and the third discuss the military and security mechanism.
